🌱Oh little Simon is so so SOOO curious about Rocky!!! The trilling and chirps scare him at first, but once the translator is introduced and Simon can understand him, he loves talking to Rocky!!!

🪨Big Simon is still a little wary of Rocky, but little Simon thinks he’s the coolest ever! Rocky’s kinda like Simon’s fun uncle.

🌱Sometimes Simon tries to chirp and trill back, and Rocky thinks it’s the cutest thing!!! He’s just like a little pebble trying to learn how to speak!!!

🪨Simon likes sitting in front of Rocky’s ball and patting it while smiling at Rocky and giggling, like a baby!!! At first Rocky was confused why he was doing it but Grace explained that it’s something human children do and now Rocky will tap his hands on the other side of the ball like they’re playing patty-cake!

🌱Grace sneaks videos of the two bonding while Simon is little all the time, one of his favorites is where Simon is fast asleep and laying on Rocky’s ball and getting drool everywhere while Rocky talks to him in hushed tones to keep him asleep.

🪨Simon doesn’t really like the lullabies Rocky can sing, so Rocky just talks about science stuff to make Simon go to sleep! Simon doesn’t understand it and it knocks him out.

☄️Grace is 10000000% Simon’s mama!!!

🌱Simon is quite the fussy baby, and it doesn’t bother Grace one bit because that is his baby no matter what

☄️Depending on how old Simon feels he is either just a whiny, whimpery baby who needs attention or a very easily irritable tot who gets easily overwhelmed.

🌱Simon has a tendency to shout or slam things when he’s overwhelmed in an attempt to scare everything into calming down; it worked in Eden and the COI because he was so intimidating to the people there.

☄️With Grace? Oh, Simon is immediately apologizing and crying, he just yelled at his mama!!! That’s bad!!! Grace understands though, Simon can’t control his triggers and he’s working towards healing and managing them better, this is just a step in the process.

🌱Simon can regress quite young, and when he does so, he’s only really fussy when he wants attention, he’s hungry, or he’s in pain. He’s a very very easy baby.

☄️Instead of shouting or slamming things when fussy, Simon whines and babbles a lot! Depending on if he’s overwhelmed, he sometimes pulls at his hair or scratches himself to regulate.

🌱Again, Grace is always there to pick up the pieces for Simon, especially when he’s so small. He gently guides Simon’s hands into his own, makes sure he’s not hurt, and sits with him until he calms down.

☄️Simon H A T E S the idea of sharing food, especially while small. If Grace tries to give him anything more than a small portion, there’s a good chance he just won’t eat it all (he’s saving it for later). If Grace tries to give the baby some of his own food, Simon adamantly refuses, even when he’s hungry. It makes Grace a little sad, but he knows that Simon grew up with a lot of food insecurity, so he’s gentle with him.

🌱Simon loves piggyback rides, but is unfortunately almost too tall for them. Poor guy can’t help how big he is!

⚙️Simon really likes dolls, especially baby dolls!

🌱I’ve seen multiple headcannons about this and I totally agree, but Simon is very prone to walking off! He has a little backpack leash that looks like a puppy.

⚙️Loves animals, big or small! One of his favorite things to do is go to a petting zoo and get to touch all of the animals!

🌱Gender isn’t really a thing in little Simon’s head; sometimes he wants to wear a tutu or a princess dress, just because he feels pretty in it! His carer even got him a little tiara.

⚙️Simon has one of those little galaxy projectors in his room, and loves the glow in the dark stars that go on the ceiling!

🌱He’s either a very picky eater or will eat off of the floor, and it’s very dependent on his mood.

⚙️Hates it when it rains, the poor boy can’t stand thunderstorms. All of water and the noise reminds him of the sub and it sends him spiraling.

🌱Simon is very much so a big brother if he’s with a regressor younger than him!!! He’s constantly showing them around, listening to them babble, and getting into mischief with them!

🌱One of the most sensitive regressors out of all of the egos; the only one who’s more sensitive is Eric!!!

⚙️A baby/toddler regressor through and through, Simon usually needs help with anything and everything when he’s small.

🌱The sleepiest, most anxious baby you’ve ever seen in your entire life, he’s almost always clinging desperately to his caregiver or sleeping quietly in their lap.

⚙️Often regresses on accident or involuntarily, he can’t control his regression and can find himself small at very inopportune times.

🌱Baths are an ordeal and often lead to tears. Simon hates baths because of the feeling of the water all around him, so his caregiver usually bathes him by running a little bit of water into the tub and adding lots of bubbles!

⚙️Washing Simon’s hair is also a massive ordeal because he hates his face feeling wet. The solution to this, however, is what he calls spa time!!! His caregiver will put a warm rag over his eyes, turn on some music so that he can’t hear the water, and sit him in front of the sink and wash his hair like he’s at a salon!

🌱Simon is always cold, so he likes to wear his caregiver’s sweaters and curl up with their blankets when he’s small!

⚙️His caregiver likes to spoil him, but Simon isn’t really sure what to do with all of they toys he’s been given, so he usually only plays with the same four toys he always does! He’s very content with this.

🌱Simon loves being outside big or small, but he especially likes playing in the grass and having picnics when he’s regressed! He’ll bring his plushie and his blankie and have a wonderful time with his caregiver.

⚙️He latches onto his caregiver no matter what, and if they’re busy and can’t cuddle, there will be tears; Simon has severe rejection sensitivity, so it’s always hard to see the baby cry after a perceived rejection.

🌱He has a bit of a fussy streak; sometimes, if he doesn’t want to do something, he’s known to throw a fit and need to be corrected.

⚙️His caregiver tried to do time out with him after a particularly bad fit, and Simon cried for two hours straight. He just has too many big emotions, he can’t help it!!! So if it comes to the point Simon needs to be corrected or put in timeout, his caregiver often sits in the corner with him.

🌱Both Simon and Dave use padding for medical reasons, though Dave is much more comfortable using padding than Simon.

🌊Both regress quite young, and their caregivers have to keep a close eye on them at first. Dave is very shy, and Simon is an anxious little one who doesn’t like change.

🌱Simon is hesitant to use padding at first and often opts to change it himself because he doesn’t want to be seen as a burden, but sometimes he’s just too small to do it himself.

🌊Dave doesn’t mind his padding and all and even wears diapers with cute ocean designs! His comfort with his padding helps ease Simon’s nerves when it comes to the topic.

🌱Those two are baby brothers to the max!!! Dave finds a lot of comfort in Simon’s prescience, and Simon is very protective of Dave. This doesn’t really mean much since they both regress so young, but it’s very cute!

🌊The most traumatized little babies, those two are so close to each other all the time because if not they’re crying and panicking.

Dave has a habit of chewing on things, but he’s quick to give them to his caregiver when they tell him to spit them out.

Simon isn’t a very active baby because he regresses so young, but he loves being outside! Anytime he’s outside, whether it be for a picnic or just to be outside with you, he’s content to just be. Sometimes he even takes naps in the grass!

Engineer Mark loves playing with blocks or legos! He could sit and put together Lego sets for hours at a time, he loves building! He also loves putting together those simple STEM models and playing with chemistry sets you can buy for younger kids! He also loves playing with fidget toys or slime.

Dave, similarly to Simon, isn’t a very active baby, but he does love to cuddle and play with his stuffed animals, especially his whale plushie! He also loves bath time, Dave has a whole bunch of ocean themed bath toys that he plays with all the time.
