How to take care of a little after an anxiety attack
-Softly speak to your little if it sounds like you raises your voice it will only make it worse
-Embrace them, it will resure them that their safe
-rub small circles onto their back to help it can calm down their breathing
-practice breathing, inhaling and exhaling slowly
-ask them to focus on an object such as their stuffie or even yourself to help them calm down
-do not ask what triggered it until your little is calmed down, if it's to soon you may cause it to happen again
-offer your little a glass of water to help their throat, the feeling of not being able to breathe can make your throat dry
-turn to things they interact with everyday to keep them grounded and know whatever caused it is no longer
-take your little seriously, do not over exaggerate or get mad over the fact that they had a panic attack, it will only make them upset in fear that they did wrong.
-if your little happens to cry rub little circles in their back to steady their breathing, softly speak to them saying "it's okay"
