Thank you! I’m so glad that Regarding Abigail is still being enjoyed well after I’ve finished it. I’m really happy that you enjoyed it too. Tom and Abby deserve their happy little family after all they’ve been through. You’re much too kind, but thank you humbly for the compliment. 

HA! I think once Tom and Abby get started growing their family, there’s very little that will stop them. That’s my head canon for them, threw that into Regarding Abigail! :-D

I’m very excited for you and all the traveling you’re doing. I’m living vicariously while sitting at my desk at work. You’re incredible friend for finding the time to read the epilogue let alone send me your thoughts on it. Makes my heart beat a little faster.

I wanted Abby to have a happy ‘ending’! She deserves it after all I put her through. I considered other not-so-happy endings, and even tragic ones, but this one felt right. I’m relieved that it finished the way it did, that it varies enough from the original timeline, but also compliment each other. Another AU came across my path and I’m tempted to try it again but I think I’ve put Tom and Abby through enough.

Baby Fiona was FUN! I can’t even tell you how much fun I had writing a Tabby little person. She’s Abby’s excitability and Tom’s confidence, and she was a good one for them to have first! That way they’re encouraged to have others.

I’m going to miss these two. Actually I already do miss these two. They’ve been with me a long time and I have to thank them for screaming at me to tell their story. (If you do re-read, there’s foreshadowing in Regarding Abigail of where it ends up. You’ll be able to look for the clues in future readings.)

Thank you for the message and for the originally suggestion! This never would’ve been if you hadn’t suggested it. And you gave me 8 months worth of fun. I shall always call you Maizie! I’ve grown attached to calling you that, and I knew who you were. I’m missing the story like crazy. I carry my notebook everywhere with me, but there’s no more editing to do. I feel like I’ve lost an important part of myself, but I’m not sure where I put it or what it does, but I miss it.

I have been working on Tom and Kristiane already. Yay! Thanks to some very persistent friends of mine, they wouldn’t let her go (not that I could). 

It feels weird for me to say you’re welcome, but you are most welcome to read my stories and like my characters. Thank you so so much for being so loyal and vocally so. Having a cheerleader and supporter in you inspires me. 

You’ve brought tears to my eyes again. I love you too, sweet Maizie. I could just squish you up. 

Caty, you’ve made me cry again. I can’t pull myself together, and this was so unexpected. Thank you for reading along and taking this journey. I never anticipated it, and I’m so thrilled that you enjoyed it. Putting Tom’s POV during Upstaged and In His Kiss out there was a gift I never thought I’d have a chance to open. And now, I have and it feels complete to me.

Like you, I’m going to miss this story. I already do. I’m a little beside myself today, because I had nothing to edit. 

I wanted to bring in as much of established Tom and Abby into this, to make this feel part of their world...  but a taste of something else. Fiona was an incredible character for me to create. Even as a baby, I put as much of Tom and Abby into her as I could. After all her loneliness and shyness, Abby deserves to be surrounded by people that love her, especially those she makes with Tom! I’m overjoyed that you enjoyed it so much. You’re a gift, Caty. Truly. I can’t thank you enough for a message like this when all is said and done. 

It’s difficult to end it, but I’m proud to have accomplished it. If I’ve earned your trust to read more of my writing, that’s a gift that keeps on giving. And I’m so touched!

Thanks, Annette! I liked the overall fluffiness and the comfort of domesticity for Tabby in this universe. They deserved it. Your help and advice were very much appreciated along the way! 

Luke would be there for Abby, and now she knows it for sure. Thank you for reading as always, Maizie. This has been an amazing journey, and I’m glad that I followed it. I hope that the Epilogue meets your expectations. I’m feeling really nervous and incredibly emotional about it. I honestly can’t stop crying.

Thank you so much, Sue! Somehow your suggestion became a whole new chapter, and I think makes for a stronger ending for the story. (Besides the epilogue is going to be lots of fun! At least I’m having the time of my life writing it.) Abby told me how to include her POV into the story, and I really liked the idea of a blog post in her words.  Luke had to come around a little, and he was thinking very literally at that moment. A little of my head canon for Luke coming through in there.
