A cool, sour frozen treat that tastes like lemonade and has the texture of ice cream. It's great for cooling off on a hot summer day.
Ingredients: 2 cups heavy cream. 1 cup whole milk. 1 cup granulated sugar. 1/2 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice. 2 tablespoons lemon zest. Pinch of salt.
Instructions: In a mixing bowl, whisk together heavy cream, milk, and sugar until sugar is dissolved. Stir in lemon juice, lemon zest, and a pinch of salt until well combined. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to manufacturer's instructions until it reaches a soft-serve consistency. Transfer the churned ice cream to a container, cover, and freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm. Serve scoops of lemonade ice cream in cones or bowls and enjoy!
