As you all know, I love bold colors and images in my own art - so how could I possibly resist this! And, after I had the pleasure of meeting Rachel Khong, when she stopped by our bookstore to sign copies of ALL ABOUT EGGS, I decided that I liked her instantly and HAD to read her fiction debut, GOODBYE, VITAMIN. 📚 It's always difficult to think of your parents aging (I know that I'm in complete denial) and this novel deals with that subject with endearing charm, humor, and the right amount of seriousness. It is told from the standpoint of 30 year old Ruth, who is dealing with a broken relationship and returns home to look after her parents, who in turn are dealing with her father's dementia.
