Iām going to be a truly dark Larrie today and say that Harry and Louis are playing us just as much as their management ever was. If you seriously think that in 2015 Harry and Louis donāt have some control over their careers, and over what we think of them, then I suggest you look again and maybe this time open your eyes. Theyāre dragging us along as fans. Itās time this fandom realized that itās just as profitable for 1D to keep us curious, keep us interested for the next year or so and have them come out just before the band goes on hiatus. The timing allows them to maximize on keeping the Larries as active fans, and to have some privacy once theyāre out. (This is not to say that a CO would lose fans - but I think this is the most likely scenario. Theyāre milking their current fans for all theyāre worth. I donāt think they care too much about gaining new fans at this point.)
I love Zayn. I support Zayn, as an artist and as a person.
Do I think Zayn is doing something stupid right now ? Yeah. Do I approve of his continued association with someone who has repeatedly harassed 1D fans ? Of course not.
Do I think Zayn should have left the band ? ā¦Yeah. I believe Zayn had a good reason for leaving and that it was long planned and well thought out. If he needed to get out, then good for him, he got out.
I donāt think heās handling it well but a few years ago I didnāt think Liam handled the Duck Dynasty thing well either. I got over it and so did he. I hope Zayn knows what heās doing and I continue to wish him (and his fans) the best. I want to clarify that I donāt think Zayn made a mistake in leaving the band; I think heās making a mistake in hanging out with Naughty Boy. I still look forward to see what Zayn is doing in the long run. I donāt see this twitter fight as a reason to completely shut him out.
Sorry, Iām just like...Ā actually emotional about this. because when I first came into this fandom, I didnāt think Larry was real. This was around 2011-12, and I knew about Larry and I thought it was cute and I even remember watching videos and wondering what it would be like if they ever came out... and the main reason I didnātĀ actually believe in itĀ was that Louis had a girlfriend.
So here I am years later, confidentĀ that Louis and Harry are in a relationship, and as IāmĀ reading that Louis and Eleanor haveĀ ābroken upā, Iām feeling the same sense of... relief?? I donāt know if relief is the word...clarity, maybe? that I felt when I realized holy shit Larry is real.
So this is big. No matter what other lesser rumors come our way this week/month, this is huge. This is... like... itās happening. Itās happening ?! Itās HAPPENING.Ā

I think that in lieu of a breakup, we're going to see a lot of breakup rumors in the next few months but never any actual confirmation or denial.Ā

I'm super interested in this latest narrative... not just because it'sĀ hilarious thatĀ Louis is now being linked to older women (how ironic) but because I was never sure if they would go through with an Elounor breakup story... very curious to see where these rumors go, if anywhere. It would be easy enough to compose a believable 'breakup' story based on the simple fact that they've been away from each other so much, but I wasn't sure if they would ever even go there. (Why bother? makes you wonder what timeline they'll expect us to believe when they come out.)
