hey had this idea that I thought would be funny/cute and in a way lead to a romance between the winter soldier/bucky/reader or oc. So everyone knows how Bucky has a list of people he did wrong when he was the winter soldier. What if he recalls someone that a woman that he couldn’t kill when he was sent to do so by hydra. Was it because he instantly fell for her at first sight? Not quite. It’s because, any time he tried he would just miss her. Almost like a free bird she could be listening to music and getting into it and just as he’s about to snipe her she does a dramatic dip and misses a bullet hitting her. He even tries to kill her close range like when she’s in her apartment but he finds out that she’s a bit of a clutz/or forgetful and has left some oil on the floor from when she was cooking and he just manages to slip on it and fall on his back. She isn’t trained at all, just a regular girl. And he’s the most deadly assassin in the whole world and can’t bring her down. So after he comes out and is healed after being the winter soldier what if he bumps into her again. She doesn’t know who he is but he knows her because out of all the scars and pains he’s felt the bump on his head is something he will never forget. And that’s where they begin their happy romantic relationship. he could share this story with Sam when he recalls the woman he couldn’t kill. Sam can laugh and make fun of him. sorry if this is a lot but it would be so cool if you or if you know someone who can write a cute fluff of this!

I just read Ashes to Embers and I have to say- I love how Bucky is so sweet and gentlemanly with calling her doll and sweets, and then when they finally get down to it he's just outright filthy.
