Okay but I am legitimately livid at the drama that's gone down with redsugarslashers/Becca and her writing? I am fucking heartbroken and devastated for her. So I’m going on a rant.

This woman was one of the most amazing writers to me. I looked up to her and her characterization of slasher boys, especially Jason. The way she wrote things was gorgeous. Her details, her emotions, and her rationality behind the things she wrote always put me in a state of wonder. And I understand that a lot of people didn't agree with what she was writing or didn't supported it. The subject of killers and loving them is touchy and can be hard to write around. Which was why I loved the THOUGHT she put I to things she wrote.

But instead of just leaving her alone and offering constructive criticism to get works what do Anon fuckfaces do? They bully her. They harass her. They try to hack into her accounts and make her life a living hell.

For what? Writing about fictional characters for a niche fandom? For having fun with people who genuinely liked her writing? For interacting with people she enjoyed writing for?

That's fucking bullshit. All of those anons who harassed her for writing exactly what so many artists have drawn or people have imagined is fucking shitty. Bullying ANYONE to that extent is fucking shitty. 

If anyone who is reading this sent her hate mail or threats or bullied her: fuck you and I hope you’re fucking proud of what you did you pieces of shit. 

You ruined someone’s life. You hurt someone so bad that they deleted all the writing they held dear to them not a week before. You destroyed part of a community a lot of us liked and looked up to. And what did you do it for? To watch her wiggle uncomfortably? To give yourself some attention that you never got before? To test out just how tempting empty threats were to people? Because you’re children who don’t know or understand the concept of letting people enjoy what they want so long as it doesn’t cause anyone physical harm or emotional stress? Clearly not that last one! Because ya’ll are fucking awful.

Come the fuck at me if you want. Tell me why I’m wrong. I’m sure she wasn’t perfect. I know the subject matter isn’t perfect. I know serial killers aren’t perfect and I should never love one in real life. I KNOW how to separate FICTION and REALITY. I’ll fucking defend that woman till my last breath an shame anyone who thought ANY of what they did is REMOTELY OKAY.

Below is also an interesting comment he made back on a post about the loss of redsugar. He clearly has access to a Myers story and is also happy to share it without her permission.

After all the cyber attacks and bullying Redsugar went through I can’t imagine how a theft like this would hurt her. It’s like nothing is sacred. Redsugar went through hell for no good reason and yet there are still people like this offering to distribute her work without her permission and then outright stealing her creations and claiming them as their own. Shameful.
