It’s not gonna happen and I’m gonna bask in that fact

I realize anytime I post about RedStairs it’s absolutely heart breaking and just pure angst 😭

So today we have some nice and fluffy things for them; aka them actually having a good relationship for once

Their main love language is touch (mainly on Kirill’s end)

^ They don’t even need to talk whenever in the same room, just a deep hug or holding hands is enough

Kirill is taller than Chidi by a couple centimeters but they’re still both 6’2

^ Which is convenient for Chidi since he gets to rest his head in the crook of Kiri’s neck

Their dates are always the most obscure shit 😭 (Rage rooms, cruises, Random picnics in the woods, etc.)

They like to shave each other’s beards, whoever nics the other will regret it though

Equally aggressive </3 (matching energy ig)

Help each other with bodyguard training and just have a blast doing so

Both chefs‼️‼️‼️ (they ask each other if somethings too salty or bitter n stuff :3)

Kirill tries to speak Spanish from what Chidi taught him, but he just has that white accent, which ultimately makes them both laugh

Chidi in the same sense, just can’t wrap his head around the consonants and certain sounds you have to make for Russian, so he can’t speak it either

In the cases that Chidi grows his hair out, Kirill likes to ruffle it

RE-DOING THIS CAUSE TUMBLR DIDNT SAVE IT THE FIRST TIME 🤬

Basically there was this photo Daniel posted that made it look like he was featured in JW2 and I took it and ran

I joked saying that Kirill had regenerative abilities or was immortal because of his obvious death in JW1; thus ending up with the instance that Kirill ‘died’ for a while and regained enough consciousness and strength to live another life

Now the RedStairs comes in because I made a scenario where Kirill and Chidi are friends, however, Kirill can’t help but yearn for him even knowing that the feelings aren’t reciprocated. When Kirill ‘dies’, he takes that chance to become a new person that Chidi might actually like this time around ‼️

That’s a really shitty way to explain it but I don’t remember what I wrote the first time 😭

Toxic / one-sided relationship warning?

During their relationship, sure they loved each other, but they had different views on their relationship. Chidi saw it as a fwb situation that just became more serious than intended, but Kirill wanted to make more out of it, seeing a future with them together

Met during their terms in the Marines, and whenever someone died, Kirill would go to Chidi for comfort (in secret of course, it was like 1990s and military in sure there was homophobia)

I think it’s pretty gut wrenching already that they had to be so secretive about it when one didn’t even care that much for the other

Chidi really put the ‘nothing’ into ‘sweet nothings’ for Kirill; yes, he cared for him, but not as much as K did for him

The only person the two could talk about their relationship to was Ted Wilson, who tried to lightly tell Kirill that Chidi ‘might’ not actually love him back (and Kirill being too infatuated, didn’t believe him)

After their discharge, they were still together, not in the instance that Kirill was keeping him in the relationship, but Chidi didn’t want to hurt his feelings, which of course led to bigger problems
