While i do get and appreciate the sentiment here, i'm pretty sure most of us artists who redesign the cast to be non-white don't really care whether mashima would want it or nah.

what inspired you to come up with this blog?
one part i personally have an ever growing collection of screenshots of the manga and anime hoarded away in a folder that i didn't really know what to do with.
Another part i personally love seeing different interpretations of the same thing from diff artists. It's fun!
Another other part is it's good practice to get into the swing of things art wise (lotsa peeps get their start copying anime screencaps. Less scary than making something up outta your brain sometimes)
Last part is its just something simple n stress free to do when you're in an artsy mood n bored :]
