Young Love II Autumn and Ariana
Ah, young romance really was a riot.
“That must have been some boy,” Ariana remarked, and turned her attention back to putting away her uniform. “I can’t say I appreciate you coming in here without asking, but I guess I can make an exception given your, uh, circumstances.”
She pointed out the couch in the next room over, and tossed the Grunt a throw pillow off one of the chairs. Despite it being on inconveniently short notice, Ariana had to admit she wasn’t totally against having some company for the night.
“It’s …Autumn, right? Long time no see, dear.”
Autumn only shrugged “He was alright. Rumor had it he had a Charizard. I was much more interested in that.”
The grunt was honestly more surprised than anything that she wasn’t getting reprimanded. Admittedly taking refuge in the home of an executive had crossed her mind, though perhaps it wasn’t the best idea of the time. Still, she gave Ariana a sheepish smile when the older woman pointed to a couch.
“Thank you ma’am.” She said, catching the throw pillow and giving it a test squeeze. “Yes it’s Autumn. I’ve been rather...preoccupied as of late and haven’t been able to spend too much time at the HQ save for filling out reports and paperwork.”
