her first impression of him was that he was young.  she’d expected someone quite a bit older than her at least, maybe with a bald and shining head with thick and rippling muscles that she likely would have been afraid to talk to upon first glance.  hyunwoo was different, though.  and since he’s started protecting her, she remembers every moment with him fondly  -  after all, it’s hard for her to make friends with her occupation, and it’s not like she has group mates to keep her company.  most of the time, she’s on her own and it’s unfathomably lonely.

he doesn’t often stay the night with her, unless there’s a problem or she feels too ill to stay in her grand apartment all alone.  tonight is different, though.  tonight, she’s decided that she’ll ask him to stay without the pretenses of their professional relationship because while distance may make the heart grow fond, their proximity is all that allie knows and she’s grown to love the little ways he’s taken care of her in the past year that he’s been working for her.  like the things that he hasn’t had to do, but has done for her anyway in ways that he probably didn’t think she noticed but allie thought about long nights when she was all alone.

“ hyunwoo.”  she calls to him softly, trying to catch him before he turned to leave for the evening.  allie can only imagine that he likely just wanted to go back home, after being with her since dawn practically.  did he even feel the same for her?  surely her feelings would break some bodyguard code of conduct .. 

allie can protect him if that’s the case.  she steels her resolve, and lifts her lips into a nervous smile.  “ will .. you stay here tonight? with me?”  i like you.  i want to be with you here.  “ the house seems too big tonight.”

he’s not sure what it is.  it’s just a normal one night stand but it definitely didn’t satisfy and it all but made him uncomfortable  -  physically, and mentally.  it’s the first time this has ever happened to subin, as by now he’s used to the long nights where men will run their hands all over him and he’ll enjoy the process of it.  tonight though, it’s left him in a bad mood and that’s the understatement of the century.

that’s why when the guy from a couple of nights ago  -  what was his name? alex?  -  shows up, anger glaring in his eyes like a fire roaring to life, subin too is ready to throw his punches.  he’s not expecting the other to stalk up to him, he’s not expecting the tight grip on his wrist and he’s certainly not expecting the gritted teeth and all that anger to be directed right at him.

they fucked one time, and sure it was good enough that it left subin thinking about him the entire time he was trying to enjoy his night between the sheets with someone else.  the fact that he couldn’t feel satisfied and only imagined him left him with a pain he couldn’t quite describe and yet alex is the one who’s angry?  for what?

“ the fuck is your problem?” subin hisses, trying to tug his arm out from alex’s grip but  -  he’s stronger than he looks.  it’s a little intriguing but he bites down that excitement in favour of his fury.  “ who are you to be tugging me around like this?”
