I guess I am finally ready to start revealing the pieces of my new series, the main part of a project about female empowerment and identity I started about 5 years ago. "Red Moon Rising" (former "Changing Woman") is coming back from its long hiatus to tell stories of real women that are true heroines and live inspiring lives. I am creating 21 mixed media portraits on paper, with a goal of releasing at least one per week. Half of the proceeds from this project are going to help an independent group or institution that cares for women in situation of vulnerability.
