1. What weapon does your muse prefer?
His magic is what he first prefer, however he wouldn’t go as far as say it’s a “weapon” as he sees it more like he would see his hands. He can defend himself, but are hands weapon? No, and so his magic isn’t.
So when it comes to what he sees as weapons, it’s in fact a tie between his staff and his dagger. He had the same staff since his magic manifested until the Conclave, where sadly it got destroyed. He got another done, he had a basic one until his Keeper send a new one. Since then he’s also improved it, and he uses it to direct his magic but also as defensive means (or even offensive).
But he also has a dagger on his back (to the side so he can take it), and it’s been offered to him by his (deceased) best friend Lyn. Lyn also showed Mika some of their ways in stealth and dagger use, although Mika doesn’t use these all that much. It can be noticed eventually that he does know how to be quiet, but Mik rarely had to use his dagger.
Oh, and he can totally wrap lightning or fire around his dagger! It’s been made to handle it, and it might have an enchantment or two (drain life? ice damages like his staff?).
