Ah, that... it won’t hurt for you all to know their stories.
Mr John was one of a kind. He was moulded to be an obedient man and couldn’t get out from its influence without Mr Barney’s guidance to a normal, better life. Although I took part of his recovery by offering him a place to stay at the org, Mr Barney guided him for most of his journey. I am grateful that they managed to stay together until now, especially when Mr John’s true personality came out.
Mr Ross’ case was a different one. He was broken and needed a place to let his true self grow. I saw his determination in his eyes when I first saw him play on a local tournament. Since then, he became one of the best players I’ve ever recruited.
Mr Wayne couldn’t get out from his past marriage with his abusive ex-husband, leaving both him and Joshua to survive alone. He was a small-time streamer and working in retail with a serious problem of discrimination of him being a trans man. Fortunately, one of my affiliate, Mr Coomer, found him and I gave him a place he would fit in.
Although Mr Dean and Mr Antoine’s problems were similar, they came from a very different background. Mr Dean was raised with strict parenting and he wanted to get out from all the rules that tied him down to the ground. Mr Antoine, on the other hand, was raised among people with social status and he ran away from there to seek somebody who won’t saw him by those social tags. It’s a miracle that they’d found each other and they’re together since then. Not as lovers, but as best friends. With that, I offered both of them a place to help them both even further. They’re still like the first time I met them; supporting each other and inseparable.
