"Five Times_kissed"
ONE: He pulled him in and refused to let ago, even with Falcorâs fake protests, laughing as he tried to get away. âNope, never.â Ker grinned and kissed his head, his cheek, his jaw. Watching as Falcor kept squirming until he kissed his lips, laughing even into that. âNever getting away from me.â
TWO: Ker was clutching the ground, eyes screwed shut as he focused on breathing, his weak attempts at healing failing every time. He wished his sister were here, Falcor was pressing a rolled up shirt to his side, trying to stop the flow of blood. Heâd survived worse, and he hated that. He hated having to be in this much. He leaned over as his love tied the shirt there with strips from his cloak, applying pressure to the wound. He caught the other mageâs lips for a moment before resting back, downing a healing potion as he did. Falcor still looked worried, but there was nothing he could do for that.Â
THREE: âIâm leaving the wardens.â Ker proclaimed the second he came to their shared room, standing straight as possible and taking a deep breath. âAt least the combat part.â He didnât want this, he wanted...he wanted to spend his time not fearing for his life. Falcor rose a brow at him and Ker sat down next to him, taking his hands. âIâm done fighting, I...â Falcor just kissed him, and that was enough for Ker. No matter what he did, he had his support.Â
FOUR: Ker had one around Falcorâs waist as he watched a little boy try to ice a plant, smiling as he got it, grinning up at his teacher. Ker had always wanted to deal with children, teach them, help them. âWe should have kids.â He whispered, kissing Falcor gently, until he felt the other one tense as those words sunk in. As they moved away from his pupils, disbelief turned into argument...and Ker spent that night with no more kisses. On the couch.Â
FIVE: In the end, Falcor had loved Viktoria despite his reservations. She bounced up and down, holding onto her fatherâs hands as they spun through the Amaranthine market. It was exactly how heâd always pictured his life as a free mage. Everything he wanted. Sure there was that damned song in the back of his head, but he had time before he had to worry. For now he just pulled Falcor close and kissed him gently, grinning from ear to ear before watching Viktoria clamber up on some nearby boxes. Yeah, he had time.Â
