      “APRIL!” 

  Is practically roared through out before he finds the red head. The shield over his eyes and teeth are grit together in the form of a snarl over his muzzle. Every fiber of his being attempting to hold back his flaming temper, and the only reason is this is the one girl that he held a crush on for years. 

         His heart aches but his twin was hurt, and it’s all because of her. 

  It doesn’t matter who it is, not even April, is allowed to upset his twin as he saw him. 

      “What is WRONG with you?! Why would you say that to Nico?! Of ALL the people, why say that to NICO?!” 

  Chest heaving as he stalks toward her, eyes still hidden behind the shield and hand gripping the small sheathed blade that was hidden in the bandages of his hands. Entire form vibrating from the barely contained fury, the only reason it’s even remotely contained was the residual feelings he held for her.

      “You want to hate someone for what happened, you can hate me but you turn your ass around and apologize to him. Right NOW!”

“Oh!...      Sugoi gochisou desu ne. Give him my thanks.”

Splinter gave the slight bow of his head as he took the food, though he couldn’t hide his slight surprise that Kirby had thought to cook something for them. In fact, it never even really crossed his mind that Mister Oneil cooked at all.

        In hindsight that seemed like a silly thing to assume, even if April’s father was a little... histrionic at times for obvious reasons.    Splinter made a mental note to send something back with April at the next opportunity, then turned to carry the dish into the kitchen.

                                   “Does your father cook often?”

⚔ ❝              aw  .  .   thanks april, you   REALLY DIDN’T   need to do that  .   .           ❞ he murmured, the leader   bashful   from the kind gesture.

🐢   ❝                miss o’neil    !!    looks like your a little   .  .   tied up.          ❞ he grinned, kind of mean as he cocked his head to the side, purring as he looked up at her. it was kinda sad really , how easy it had been to catch her. 

just some manipulation verbally && voila. 

“April, some consideration should be necessary.”

       “I am not saying the decisions are always easy, but let’s not jump to the assumption that it is impossible for love and rationality to coexist.”

The fact he first sought permission before initiating any type of affection between them, even something so simple as holding her hand, she appreciated him more for. She found he was the type to worry about overstepping his boundaries, constantly finding herself being the one to initiate first. As endearing as it was, April didn’t want him to feel like he had to ask every time he wanted something.

“Leo…” She sighed happily, two arms encircling around his neck until their foreheads touched, cobalt hues disappearing under eyelids as she relished the moment. These treasured moments she kept close to her heart. “It’s okay,” A whisper of reassurance before she leaned in, claiming his lips with her own in a gentle kiss.

⚔ ❝          are you sure     ??     i mean   ----             ❞ he broke off as april brought her lips against his beak, a blush of a darker hue of his scales showed on his cheeks within moments. it took him a second or two before moving closer a tiny bit, deepening the kiss just barely as he ran large hands down her arms. resting hands on her hips he stayed until he pulled back, closing his eyes as he kept his head pressed against her’s, letting out a shaky breath.

With his consent,a hand carefully cupped his chin to guide him down. Rustic eyes gazed at her so tenderly, increasing the ever-growing shade of crimson on her features, prominent against her pale complexion. April returned his gaze with just as much warmth, lips curled into a smile as she brought him closer until his plastron was pressed against her chest.

Before she closed the rest of the distance, she looked to him with a look of reassurance. He had always been so considerate of her and she’d show the same courtesy, wanting to be attentive to his needs so no discomfort was caused.

“If you need to stop, then do it.”

One final moment to make sure he was alright, April pulled him down into a kiss, standing up on her tiptoes to deepen it. A wave of happiness washed through her body, able to hold Donnie so close to her like this. Their lips moved together in perfect sync all the while April took it slow, allowing him to take lead with each movement.

🔧 ❝      its fine   .   .      ❞ he comforted, the side of his hand brushing against freckled cheeks as he felt   sure   in this moment. the moment he gave consent for touch was the moment he was doubly if not  TRIPLY   sure about this in full. her gaze, the warmth behind it filled the genius, the feeling swelling up nice in his chest as he too felt warmth for april. 

he felt no discomfort, he just felt  .  .   calm in the moment as a flush, a weird shiver coming over his form as he fell into it, gently gripping her close with his free hand by her side he pressed his beak against april’s lips as they collided together. 

with her allowance of him to take the lead he slid the hand that was against her cheek to run through her ginger hair. he deepened the kiss, eyes closing as he deepened the kiss   ----  savoring the moment. he wasn’t going to rush this.

She hadn’t expected him to fret over her this much, especially because it was an accident. “Donnie, for the last time me and my hair are fine.” She assured again, feeling his fingers slowly thread through her hair and occasionally massaging her scalp. It was obvious he was worried his contraption had hurt her, hair becoming stuck in the device and took nearly an hour to untangle. But aside from a sore head from trying to tug herself free, Donnie’s hands had not left her hair since.

While it felt nice, she didn’t want him to feel guilty. Nor could she deny him from easing his own mind by checking her over.

🔧 ❝      && for the last time,   no,   you && your hair are   not   fine.       ❞ he breathed, stressed out && worried about what happened before. he was a wreck from having to untangle her hair from the contraption. he figured her scalp was fine after coming to terms there was no blood anywhere on her head.

just probably tender && a bit sore.
