My first drawing for MerMay is here! These will only be character designs, so there won’t be any detailed backgrounds. For the mermaids I draw, I think more on functionality than beauty (the mer-people in the world of Redemption are more like warriors instead of the usual fairytale wonders). One thing I should also note is that these mer-people are characterized by the tattoo-like markings they have and the colors on those markings and their tails. Cooler colors (like blues) and more markings make you cooler!

Yeah, sorry peoples. I just haven’t had the same inspiration and spark I used to have in a loooong time. Between this and just being busy all the time, I need a break. But don’t worry! I will finish Redemption eventually!
