1. Do you ever doubt the existence of others than you?

Sometimes, haha. Especially of people I haven’t seen for ages, like the kids I was in kindergarten with. I don’t remember half of their names or faces and it’s all just so surreal. Goes for some other parts of my life and other people from my past as well. Is that weird? :D

2. On a scale of 1-5, how afraid of the dark are you?

Just answered here :D

3. The person you would never want to meet?

That’s a hard question... I don’t really know? I could think of a handful of people I’d never want to meet again, because they were just so rude or insincere and I don’t need that kind of people in my life. Like, a former classmate, a former teacher and some random acquaintances.

4. What is your favorite word?

Haha, I can’t think of a favourite word righ now, but a really unusual word I like is “Oachkatzlschwoaf” (I don’t even know if you write it like this :’D). It’s a very Southern-Bavarian word and means “squirrel-tail”. And I guarantee you, if you ever travel to Bavaria someone’s going to ask you if you can say that word, because it’s quite hard to say even for most Germans who aren’t used to the Bavarian accent.

5. If you were a type of tree, what would you be?

Uh, I kind of like willows so I’m just going to go for that :D

6. When you looked in the mirror this morning what was the first thing you thought?

“Ugh” (as every morning, haha)

7. What shirt are you wearing?

I swear, everytime I get that question I’m wearing the same shirt, lmao. It’s a curse :D The curse of the dark grey shirt (or I have too many dark grey shirts...)

8. What do you label yourself as?

Notoric procrastinator :D

9. Bright room or dark room?

I prefer working in bright rooms because it’s way more relaxing. Only when the sun shines directly on my screen I have to close the curtains.

10. What were you doing at midnight last night?

Okay, this one’s easier: Miranda! Both of them are awesome strong characters with some great character development. But as a person Miranda speaks to me a lot more than Jack. I can relate to her really well.

And this is the question I was referring to when I said “I’m going to regret it”.

Aaah, so many! Probably I’ve answered some of those before, but I’ll do my best to answer them all :D

1: How did you get into Mass Effect?

Through Dragon Age :D I really, really love Dragon Age and a friend of mine said “Mass Effect is like Dragon Age - in space” (I figured out that many people around here are introduced into the series like that, haha :D). Then one day while I was looking for something else in a mall (and didn’t find it) I saw the Trilogy box standing on a shelf nearby and decided to give it a try - best decision I made that year :D

6: Preferred Shepard backstory (colonist, earthborn, spacer)?

My Shepard was always earthborn so far and I’ve developed a more or less extensive background story for that - so probably I’m going to stick with it in the future, too.

7: Preferred class?

Vanguard!!! I just love charging around and kicking someone’s ass with my biotics, but I also love the shotguns and heavy pistols :D

8: Do you prefer to play as Male or Female Shepard?

Male. Although one day I might play as Femshep to romance Garrus :D

9: Share a pic of your favorite Shepard.

10: Best Shepard quote?

I’ve already answered that one, but here it is again:

11: Do you prefer ME1, 2, or 3?

Noo, I can’t pick one… They all have their positive and negative aspects… ME1 introduces you into this awesome world and the final mission blew my mind away. ME2 has a whole bunch of absolutely awesome missions and an amazing soundtrack, but it falls a bit out of the whole story (with killing Shepard off just to revive him a couple of moments later, for example). But ME3 is the most emotional one and the battles are fantastic (and then we have stuff like the Mshenko romance, the Citadel DLC, also the soundtrack etc.) Biggest downside here: the ending.

15: Vimire: Ashley or Kaidan?

I’m sorry Ash… always Kaidan. (One day you’ll make it to me3 Ash… one day… maybe… I’m sorry)

23: Favorite mission from ME3?

Probably Priority: Tuchanka (apart from the Citadel and Leviathan DLCs).

31: Favorite team member overall?

KAIDAN. But tbh, I love them all…

32: Least favorite team member?

… and that’s the problem for this answer :D I woulnd’t say least favourite, but the team members I used the least are pure soldier types like Ashley and James (sorry again Ashley… but once she absolutely saved my ass during the Pinnacle station missions and James is also an amazing bro :D)

36: Funniest moment in the games?

There were so many of them!! First of all, the whole Citadel DLC of course. Apart from that I also loved the scene where Mordin sings in me2 or when he thinks Shepard’s hitting on him :D

39: Who did you romance in your first playthrough?

I already answered that but I’m saying it again: Kaidan! It’s always worth the waiting :D

41: Favorite romance so far?

Mshenko for life! I don’t know if I’ll ever manage not to romance him with my male Shepards…

42: One romance you just can’t stand/doesn’t make sense/etc?

Diana Allers. Why is she even an option??? Even Kelly’s romance is deeper than that.

And somehow I can only picture Liara with Femshep.

43: Non-romancable characters: who would you romance?

Kal’Reega is the first one coming to my mind. I really liked him.

45: Best villain in the series?

Saren Arterius! But meeting Sovereign was awesome, too, and I wish that Harbinger had had a bigger part in ME3.

49: Favorite Shepard headcanons?

I already answered that before here, but another one would be that Shepard’s singing while driving - in the car, but also in the Mako :D

51: That One Headcanon that hurts to think about?

I also answered that before here, another one would be all the horrible stuff that could happen after the refusal ending :(

54: Your absolutely NOTP?

Hmm… I don’t know if I really have one. I probably woulnd’t romance Jacob because of what happens in ME3. And I’ve never considered romancing Jack, James or Ashley either but I don’t hate them.

55: Who would you date if you could (not as Shepard)?

Not yet :D

67: Who would you cosplay if you could (no holds bar)?

I’d love to cosplay Shepard, Kaidan and a random Quarian one day though (I love the enviro-suits).

89: Do you have any friends who love ME too?

Apart from here on tumblr… well, that one distant friend who told me Mass Effect is like Dragon Age in space :D And my sister, but I think she loves Dragon Age more. I’m still trying hard to get more of my friends into it so that maybe one day we can cosplay together #lifegoals

94: Best hopes/worst fears for an ME movie?

Best hopes: that they don’t make one based on the trilogy, actually. I think it would just disappoint a huge amount of players, because they would have to make some choices (Virmire, Shepard’s gender, who becomes councilor, Renegade or Paragon, etc.). In the end no one would be happy with it.

I think a movie based on the novels though, about Anderson’s and Saren’s mission, could have a lot more potential.

95: Do you mod your games?

After being emotinally wrecked and depressed for a week after my first playthrough of ME3 I decided to install the Happy Ending mod. 10/10 would recommend to save you a lot of pain and suffering. I’ve also thought about getting some of the clothing mods, but so far I’ve been happy without them.

96: What’s your favorite ME mod?

JohnP’s Alternate MEHEM  because it’s way more subtle than the original MEHEM, but full of hope and bittersweet. That’s the ending the trilogy and Shepard would have deserved in my opinion (I don’t blatently hate the real endings, but they’re just so damn painful that I can’t take it).
