i’ve just been thinking a lot recently about the skill it takes to be a musician who is in a famous band vs some guy with a guitar. because like, yes, lots of people play. but ray is just. he’s so stupid fantastic at it? watching him play is so mesmerizing and frankly it’s awe inspiring because of how well his fingers have mastered the frets. they move so quickly with so much precision it’s CRAZY like. fucking hell dude. you can see how much he’s practiced, he lives and breathes guitar, it’s so evident to me that he’s a fucking GUITARIST…..so evident that he’s been playing and touring for half his life and more and that he’s passionate about it even after all these years. yes, its captivating, but dear godddd it’s also so fucking sexy
his guitar faces. the speed of his fingers. his standing stance. how he leans into the playing. how he arches his back while playing. how his hair blows in the wind and makes him look like a fucking dream boat commercial for sexy men r us. those eyes. but maybe most of all? the fact that he doesn’t seem to fucking understand that he’s easily in there with all of the “rock gods”. easily. he’s so humble. he’s so sweet. he’s also a fucking monster on guitar.

and he’s so humble and sweet too agh. like i don’t think he realizes how good at guitar he is. and that just makes him even more attractive im ngl
