I've done much thinking, but after this month, I really need to lock in on different forms of media to get into to achieve some more serious goals of mine.

Specifically writing, continuing learning Blender, and environmental art (backgrounds and shit). If I truly wanna make stories and worlds I care about and want to build fully, these few things are musts for me. At this point, outside of having to make a living and all that life stuff, I am the only thing stopping myself.

Plus, I really wanna make at least one video game (excluding past college projects here) before I'm 30.

Y'all, I missed making illustrations and the whole process that goes with it! I've been challenging myself to do a certain amount of thumbnails before picking my favorite to make AF character illustrations, and it's been making the whole process a lot easier and quicker to make each one.

Makes me hopeful for future art projects after this month. I'm very excited!

Slightly sad about not taking the time to design my oddity characters for Artfight, but to be completely fair with myself, they are characters with full on stories and complex designs that will take me a good while to flesh out.

Definitely a next year thing! I joined more on a whim this year for the sake of having fun and to further my consistency in creating. But I am inching more and more closer to starting on a bigger project.

Currently working on ref sheets for Artfight this year, and I've been playing around with almost everything in terms of art. Been bringing back some of my old sonas and still haven't quite figured out a good "true" sona to rep me.

All my new concepts are incredibly in their first stages, especially my new one, REDACTED, which I want to be both a sona and story driven character. It's an experimental time for me with my art, and I'm honestly excited to revisit older eras of myself to hit the right spot in terms of my niche/what mediums I like!

That being said, I'm wondering if I should start really posting WIPS here for feedback 🤔 I love to talk about art, but I don't necessarily have that community surrounding that in a casual sense. I wanna be able to disconnect my feelings of "it has to be perfect" from the internet and my art as a whole (I want to yeet industry mindset from my brain!!).

Anyways! Regardless, this is something I'm gonna try out! Definitely a "post as they're made" type deal. Taking this all in stride for a good artistic recovery :3
