fearless

What does it take to be fearless? Perhaps repetition, or the ability to find a space inside your mind to curl up and breathe.

Or maybe it's just about facing

                                                        the fear itself.

We are born with two fears; the fear of falling and the fear of loud noises. Everything else...we    have       been             taught.  

When I was little my grandfather tied a red cape around my neck. He told me that it made me invincible, that I could do ANYTHING when wearing it.

He told me, to never take it off.

          He told me, it was our        secret.

I swore I felt the strings tie around my neck but it was just my        imagination

But I hoped,         I desperately hoped that it was there, dancing behind me,

tickling the wind as I walked.

The point is,       we can feel just as invincible by telling ourselves we are, then if we're

wearing a red cape or not.
