Old Paint Cans??? What to do!
Most people are completely stumped when it comes to discarding old paint, primer, sealers and stain cans. Here are some pointers on clearing up that extra space in your... garage, attic, crawlspace, pantry, closet, kitchen or other space. [I’ve seen old paint cans in pantries and the baby’s room!] Let’s get rid of it!

California Paint Drop-off
Since the start of the California paint stewardship program in 2012, PaintCare has set up 771 drop-off sites! Most of these are retailers that have volunteered to take back and recycle paint.
Be sure to read the restrictions, such as limits on quantity per visit, which products they will accept, and hours for drop off. Check out the FEES section of the PaintCare website. For most current paint products, there is no charge for dropping off at a PaintCare drop-off site.
