I went on a Tears For Fears rarity binge when I went to Record Runner the other day; having not been there for 18 months, the T section had acquired some great, obscure stuff, from a pair of 2018 UK-only Record Store Day remixes to a mid-80s remix sent only to club DJs, along with a 10” UK release of the lone album by their previous band, Graduate. I was pretty excited to find all that—and then when I went to actually play them the next day, my stereo turned on with a house-shaking hum. So I haven’t listened to them yet, but at least now I have a rainy three-day weekend to chase down that hum (just what I felt like doing).
