But one thing is crystal clear to me: when I hear some of you reconnecting natives say you "want to kill all white people", or "we have to get rid of all criollos" or similar, all I hear is "my own white guilt is so strong that I feel like I should kill myself too".

It's plain and clear to me that all that hatred for criollos is actually hatred for yourself and your own mixed heritage. Because you feel like you don't belong or you aren't "enough". As if you could "prove" you're indigenous by hating the colonizer hard enough. That's not how indigenous identity works. Reconnecting means unlearning those pathways of violence. Relearning our own pathways of identity and community building.
