it’s honestly not very scary in a typical “horror movie” way. it rarely relies on jump scares (maybe twice, three times tops) and is more interested in creating a beautiful narrative and atmosphere that’s very reminiscent of classic gothic horror and romantic dramas more interested in fucked up characters than the ghosts that inhabit our world.
