she’s panting as they slow to a walk, her breathing a little laboured and sweat clinging to the back of her neck where the hair sticks there - damp. she’d been happy to go for a run with him - but soon after they’d started she was reminded about their difference in stamina. she’d been getting better, danger and training working hand in hand to train her body -- but she still was not to iida’s level. honestly she’s fairly proud of herself that she’d mostly caught up -- though she’s not sure if that was a result of him holding back.
“ haaa -- well, i didn’t really realise i was hungry until about half way through -- ” she explained, mostly because she hadn’t really thought about it as well as she’d had a fairly decent breakfast so she thought she’d last the run -- but then her stomach started rumbling and it was all downhill.
“that’s for sure --” she agreed, thankful that they were taking a moments break -- at least she could catch her breath. though she notices that the taller boy was using his phone and despite her slightly breathless state she moves to take a peak over his shoulders -- standing on tip toe. “are you looking for places to eat ? ”
