Delhi ABS was unchanged this week, with Indian ABS prices holding at Rs 204.00/kg. The latest weekly stability came after a sharper fortnightly correction of Rs 16.00/kg from the earlier peak of Rs 220.00/kg. Although the near-term market softened during the fortnight, the three-month comparison still showed a Rs 4.00/kg increase, suggesting that the product remains above earlier levels despite recent volatility.
The longer-term movement was stronger. Over six months, ABS rose by Rs 77.00/kg from Rs 127.00/kg, while the year-on-year comparison showed a larger gain of Rs 82.00/kg from Rs 122.00/kg. Indian ABS prices have moved within a wide recent band, with the high at Rs 227.00/kg and the low around Rs 120.00/kg. Current monitoring levels were placed at Rs 204.00/kg on the high side and Rs 200.00/kg on the low side.
