katniss feels offended, because she is NOT a loser 

     she's always hated the reek of bleach. the smell reminds her of the hospital, which in return calls to mind all the worst times of her life. the games, the quell, the death associated. so much death. and even worse this time -- people she called acquaintances, even friends meeting bloody ends while she could do NOTHING, so narrowly avoiding such a fate herself. if she believed in luck, she would consider it just hers that she wound up in a cleaning closet, which stinks of the very odor that she so loathes -- but, if she leaves now, a soldier will find her, and so will begin the latest plea. you could be of so much help in special weaponry -- think of the rebellion --

     her loyalty does not extend to using her talent to take lives. never again, she swore nearly twenty-five years ago. and so she sits with her arms around her knees, chin pressed to them, and listens to the bustle outside her little sanctuary, letting the drone lull her into a sort of dissociative state.

     then the door opens. she jolts, hits her head on a shelf, and knocks a bottle to the floor, which smashes. the stench of damned bleach fumes fill the tiny space.

10. does your muse get carsick ?

not physically, but cars do make him anxious, particularly the sort found in district three, which are not the safest or best maintained in panem. hovercraft is by far his favorite means of transportation.

20. where are your muse’s ancestors from ? do they keep any of their traditions ?

the latier family has lived in district three since its inception after the collapse of north america. when ‘ the united states ’ became ‘ panem ’, the previous traditions of its people were wrung out of them and lost to history ; this includes beetee’s ancestors. thus, the only family ‘ tradition ’ of sorts is working in the factories of district three, the lowest - class job in the city.

36. what simple task is your muse surprisingly bad at ?

he can’t use matches. at all. they rarely light when he strikes them, and when they do ignite, he tends to burn himself. 

     katniss everdeen, the girl known for doing the impossible, has succeeded again. she has made wiress smile — truly, genuinely smile.  ‘ i would make a TERRIBLE mother. you would never go to bed on time. never eat your vegetables ; i don’t. never learn how to make nice with children your age. but i appreciate the sentiment, katniss. ‘
