Review
Iâve always loved my Clarisonic. I started off with the original Mia and last year upgraded to the Mia 2. Both products help cleanse the skin deeper, allowing products to penetrate better, smoother and clearer skin. I recently bought the Luna Mini, about 5 months ago. I feel like Iâve finally and used it enough to tell you guys how they compare.Â
Iâll start off with saying I still prefer my Clarisonic. I feel like my skin is cleaner. The Luna is not a bad product at all, itâs great actually! Since introducing both into my routine, my skin is much clearer. I didnât have a purging stage with the Luna, but I had been using my Clarisonic for years.Â
I can see why people with sensitive skin would like the Luna more. It feels more gentle on the skin. The Clarisonic can be hit or miss depending on what brush head you have. I like the sensitive and deep pore. Iâm not a fan of Delicate or Cashmere, they are too soft. With the Luna Mini one side is sensitive skin and the other is for oily skin. The oily skin side is awful!! Iâm so happy I didnât get the large size in oily. The oily side actually hurt my skin and felt like it was dragging. If you want one Iâd go with the sensitive or combo.Â
Overall I love both devices. I will continue to use both. I donât think Iâll be upgrading my Luna. I like using my Luna after intense skin care. While my Clarisonic works better day to day. I do want the Smart Profile, I want to be able to use the body / pedi attachments. As many have wondered, they are quite similar. I think it really comes down to how sensitive your skin is? What brush are you using on the Clarisonic? Which Luna did you buy? You get a wide range of uses with the Clarisonic, as the price reflects.
Luna has a cleansing side and a âliftingâ side (depending on the device). The Luna has different skin devices: oily, combo, sensitive, ultra sensitive, and normal (depending on device).
Clarisonic has a facial cleansing brushes, pedi brushes, body brush, âliftingâ brush, and makeup brush. (depending on the device)
Clarisonic has 9 different facial brush heads, useable on all devices. Along with 5 brush heads for the other uses (some only useable on smart profile).

#thelippencil is the best (seriously) lip liner! The formula is everything you want in a lip pencil: creamy color, smooth application, & no bleeding with glosses.
Obsessed with lipsticks but finally finding a love for lip liners, I know?! But most pencil lip liners are really hard and matte which I find hard to get the perfect shape (dragging & tugging). Iâve finally found a comfortable lip liner that doesnât dry out my lips and settle causing bleeding.
These Bite gems are a must buy!!! Pictured is 020 and 044. thank you Influenster for the products âĽď¸
Introducing the newest #Glossier: Priming Moisturizer Rich! âŁPMR has all the skin benefits as her older sister (anti-redness complex & oxygenating) plus tons of other beneficial ingredients like ceramides, red algae, fatty acids, and murumuru butter (srsly did some research on this and impressed)! â¨
I have oily skin and Iâve been loving it. Iâve been using it every night! Once it gets warm out Iâll be using this as an eye cream. Itâs hand down the best product Iâve ever used around my eyes, so luxurious.
I highly recommend this! Get it now in my page đŻ

#glossier Nail Polish: quick drying &Â wide contoured brush
Review
I really enjoyed half of the kit. The nail polish had a great brush shape and did dry fast. When I wore it I had minimal chipping. I didnât think Iâd like it so much but I think they could make more shades and Iâd be interesting in buying them. The lip gloss was my favorite. I really hope this becomes permanent. Itâs very moisturizing. Itâs basically clear so you can wear it alone or over a lipstick/liner. I had been meaning to pick up an oil gloss and this set came out at the perfect time. I think it feel kinda similar to Clarins, not as thick or heavy. The gloss def gives a glass like shine and lasted fairly well on the lips (w/ no eating/drinking). The No.1 Pencil is bleh! I donât wear eyeliner often so I donât get much use from it. I wore it once to see how it smudged and it smudge a lot! I didnât think it would move around so much. It didnât seem to transfer too much with wear. The Haloscope is gorgeous. Hands down the best shade in their line up. It has this soft ethereal glow with a very subtle shift of blue. My biggest con, like with the previous releases, is the coconut oil. Coconut oil is comedogenic! I wish theyâd just replace coconut oil with something else.
Glossier recently launched a line of serums. Upon first glance I noticed the three serums had similar themes, for a lack of a better word, as Paulaâs Choice. I think Glossier might of taken some inspiration from Paula when creating their line of serums. I saw a lot of people on intothegloss (Emilyâs website, creator of Glossier) asking how they compare to Paula, Iâm glad I wasnât the only one who saw the correlation.
The biggest difference between the two lines, besides ingredients, is Paula can be mixed with serums and moisturizers or used alone.Â
Glossier has: Pure (Niacinamide + Zinc PCA), Bounce (Hyaluronic Acid + Vitamin B5), and Glow (Vitamin C).
Paulaâs Choice has a larger line including: Resist Niacinamide 10% Booster, Resist Hyaluronic Acid Booster, Resist C15 Super Booster, Resist Moisture Renewal Oil, and Resist Retinol 1% Booster.
Ingredient Breakdown
***i tried to do my best putting the function next to the glossier ingredients, paula already supplies the function on her website***
Glossier Pure vs. Paulaâs Choice Resist Niacinamide 10% Booster
10% Niacinamide: Dramatically improves uneven skin tone and refines the appearance of pore size, skin texture, and fine lines
Hyaluronic Acid: Replenishes moisture content in skin for a plump, supple, and noticeably smoother appearance
C15 Super: Dramatically brightens uneven skin while improving the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines
Wear/Results
Paula give the percentages of âmainâ ingredient which I like. Glossier doesnât release that information (many have asked). I understand most brands donât like releasing that info because itâs their formula.
Between the Pure and 10% Niacinamide I prefer the Glossier Pure! Itâs very lightweight and is perfect to wear under makeup. The Paula one is great as well. I donât like using that one alone, I mix it with a different serum. The glossier serums in general are very lightweight, similar to an essence.
Bounce by Glossier is my least favorite of all six. I much prefer the Paula Hyaluronic Acid Booster. I mix it with my moisturizer regularly. It gives a boost of hydration. I usually use it at night because I have oily skin. Bounce has silicone very high on the ingredients list too. I really try and not use any skin care with silicone. I feel like the Bounce sits on my skin locking in moisture while the Glossier gives my skin moisture from the inside out.
Lastly the Glow and C15 Super were very different types of vitamin c serums! As I said before the Glossier ones are very very lightweight. If you had oily skin, or were looking to wear a serum during the day, Glow would be a great choice. While I do have oily skin I prefer the Paula C15 Super. I see better and faster results. My biggest con with the Paula is that it is a heavier serum. I can only wear it at night. So I do opt for the Glow during the day. (Vitamin C serums are my fav).
Glossier did an amazing job of creating affordable serums. I thought they were breaking me out at first, hence the ultra late review. But it was my new hair care products and stress! If you were debating getting the Glossier ones I would get them. I really enjoy them. Bounce is the only one I donât recommend. I will reorder all but Bounce.
Pure: 5/5, Bounce: 2/5 Glow: 4/5
Niacinamide: 4/5, Hyaluronic Acid: 4.8/5 (bc the packaging makes it hard to get out, bounce has the same problem), C15 Super: 4.8/5 (wish it was more lightweight)

Colleen Rothschild currently has 3 Treatment Complex products in her line up: Vitamin C Treatment Complex, Retinol Treatment Complex, and Salicylic Acid Treatment Complex.Â
Claims:
All Treatment Complex products have the Colleen Rothschild propriety Level E3 technology.
âThe addition of our exclusive delivery system LevelE3, mimics the skin's own natural lipid barrier which decreases trans-epidermal water loss while extending the effectiveness and efficiency of key ingredients.â
âVitamin C Treatment Complex improves natural radiance and clarity while defending against environmental aggressors. A powerful form of vitamin C helps reduce the appearance of hyper-pigmentation and increases cell turnover, leaving skin more even and radiant.Â
Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate is a modified, lipid-soluble form of vitamin C able to penetrate the epidermis 16 times more effectively than ascorbic acid, thus reaching the dermis where it stimulates collagen production. Unlike ascorbic acid, it will not exfoliate or irritate skin.â
Retinol Treatment Complex:Â
âCell turnover gets a boost with Retinol Treatment Complex, a scientifically advanced, multi-faceted treatment that targets the five primary causes of visible aging.
The appearance of wrinkles is minimized, pores are cleared, and dull skin is improved. Results are a brighter looking complexion.
Comprehensive blend of micro-encapsulated Retinol and Retinol-like botanical in our exclusive time-released delivery system LevelE3 dramatically extends the effectivess of these ingredients.â
Salicylic Acid Treatment Complex:
âSalicylic Treatment Complex is a potent problem-solver that refreshes and refines the skin.
Contains Niacinamide and Willow Bark, a natural source of Salicylic Acid, which work synergistically to tackle the appearance of large pores, discoloration and rough texture, while promoting clear skin.â
Serums are applied after toner (or face wash if you donât use toner) and before moisturizer.
Take a large pea size and pat into skin. The product will usually feel tacky as itâs being absorbed.
Wait about 1-5 mins before applying moisturizer.
The Vitamin C Treatment Complex can be used day and night.
The Retinol Treatment Complex can be used at night. (Donât use retinol during the day).
The Salicylic Acid Treatment can be used day and night. Make sure to wear SPF if you wear it during the day!
I found out about Colleen Rothschild from a video from MakeupbyTiffanyD! I really trust her so I took the plunge and only bought 2 serums at first. I bought the Retinol and Salicylic Acid. Between the two my favorite is the SA. I use it during the day to help keep my oil at bay and to help keep blackheads / pimples away while wearing makeup. The SA Treatment Complex is lightweight and overall Iâm very happy with how it preforms.
I use the Retinol Treatment Complex at night 2-3 times a week. I alternate with my Drunk Elephant serum. The Retinol serum has a slightly thicker consistency. As MakeupbyTtiffanyD said I almost feel like I (oily skin) donât need a moisturizer when I wear it. I think itâs made to not be drying, as retinol has a tendency to be drying. While I do not have any complaints about the Retinol serum I think between all 3 itâs my least favorite, and the one Iâd be least likely to buy again (unless she had a great sale).
After really enjoying the 2 serums I decided to take the plunge and buy the Vitamin C Treatment Complex. At this point I thought I already had a great VitC serum but I since I enjoyed the other serums I thought why not try it out. All I can say after the first use is WOW! Itâs hands down the best Vitamin C serums iâve ever tried. For the first time after using a Vitamin C serum I actually felt like my skin looked radiant. Out of all 3 this one feels the most lightweight on the skin. I use this sometimes during the day and other times at night. It just depends. I currently have quite a few serums so I rotate around.Â
If you are thinking of ordering some of her products look out for sales. Colleen Rothschild always as great sales going on. Iâve bought all the products I own from her at least at 15-20% off.
Would you re-buy this product? Yes!
How many stars? Vitamin C: 5/5 Retinol & SA: 4/5
Who would I recommend this for? Anyone. The Retinol serum I would say is best for mid-20â˛s or older / drier skin types.
Last Comments? Overall I love these serums. The Vitamin C Treatment Complex is now a staple in my skin care routine. I highly recommend it. The SA Treatment Complex is my second favorite. I think if you have oily skin or are breakout prone itâs a great day serum. (Also itâs so hard to find serums with SA). The Retinol Treatment Complex is not bad! I think itâs formulated for a drier and/or mature skin types.

Review:
The Generation G lipsticks are nothing like Iâve tried before. They apply like a waxy lip balm but are completely matte. The color pay off in 1 swipe gives a slight tint but 3-5 can give quite a lot of pigment. When you layer the lipsticks they do not get heavy or apply patchy. I wore Crush to work one day and it lasted an 8 hour shift with minimal color fading! I wore Cake on my momâs birthday & daughter fun day and it didnât fade, even in the rainy weather.Â
My favorite part of the Generation G lipsticks is itâs not too drying. With itâs balm like texture it stays comfortable on the lips all day. In a recent video I saw an employee use Jam as a blush. In that moment I remembered the lipstick does have a cream cheek stain texture (from other products I own) without being greasy. So far Iâm super impressed. I hope they come out with more colors. Like isnât my favorite on my skin tone and I donât think Iâd like Jam. But Crush and Cake are beautiful. Iâve received so many compliments wearing Crush. Itâs the perfect popsicle summer lip (I love a red lip).Â
EDIT: they have changed the formula to be more moisturizing!!! Leo is my fav color.
Would you re-buy this product? Yes.

Last Comments? I really enjoy these. They are quick and easy but give a nice hydrated matte lip look. I can throw them in my purse and re-apply them without a mirror. When I wear them I get minimal inner ring goop too!

âUsed as a makeup remover or a gentle facial cleanser, this cleansing creme delicately removes dirt and surface oils with a special poly-hydroxy acid formula, leaving skin silky and smooth.â Exuviance
Claims:
Directions:Â âMoisten hands and face. Pump product onto fingertips and massage onto face and neck using an upward circular motion. Tissue off or rinse thoroughly with warm water, and pat dry. Recommended for use in both the morning and evening.â
Benefits: âThis comfort-rich cleanser gently removes makeup, surface oils and impurities without altering the skin's natural moisture balance. The soothing creme formulation is blended with an anti-aging Polyhydroxy Acid (PHA), along with skin conditioners and nourishing botanicals to soften and soothe while improving the skin's texture. This dermatologist developed soap-free cleanser is highly moisturizing and ideal for dry or sensitive skin. It's also wonderful as a makeup remover and can be rinsed or tissued off for a clean, refreshed complexion.âÂ
I really like this cleanser. I use it as a makeup remover. Iâve said before Iâm not a huge fan of makeup removing oils and balms. This does a great job without the mess. If you have drier skin youâll love this as a gentle face wash (and makeup remover).Â
When you use the product it has the feel of a lotion. It almost feels like itâs not removing any makeup. Then you look in the mirror and itâs all removed. If you have oily or combo skin you will feel a light lotion feeling after itâs been rinsed off. I personally donât mind this because I go in with my Clarisonic and foaming face wash. The light hydrating feel is great because my skin doesnât feel as stripped from âwashingâ it twice at night. Out of all the makeup removers / non-foaming face washes Iâve tried the Gentle Cleansing Creme is the most hydrating.Â
At my work we use this on clients to remove makeup as well. It causes no irritation, even on the most sensitive skin. Since receiving the cleanser my sister has been using it. She is acne-prone, has dry, and sensitive skin. So far she has had no problems with it. She said she doesnât get an overly hydrating feel but thatâs great for her. It means itâs not drying her skin out. Most face washes leave her skin tight. Â
How many stars? 4/5
Who would you recommend this product for? Dry, mature skin types.Â

Last Comments? Overall this is a great option for drier skin types. I highly recommend it.
