Drew my OC Yue in HxH's art style! After more than a decade of studying Togashi's art and design sense I feel like I finally made a design that fits into the world of HxH that I'm happy with. It's definitely not perfect but I like it!
Since her character theme mostly has something to do with music, her top sort of reflects that kind of imagery by resembling the frets on a guitar. Her boots also kind of resemble smthg like a marimba or similar musical instruments. Since she moves around a lot, I imagine her little pouch is there for her to put in items she'd use on the daily. She also has a little pendant necklace that contains a photo of her twin brother!
Overall, she's not the type of character that Togashi would design (at least not for a significant character) but I think I at least managed to make her fit in with the HxH universe well enough.
(As a sidenote, I'm thinking of posting on this blog for more OC stuff including casual doodles and rambles! My art blog @yulesarts will be reserved for fanart and other more finished illustrations I think)
