#reassuring?

What I love the most about Tumblr is that sometimes your dash will be flooded by one of your mutuals' very niche YA/NA books with plenty of "actually blorbo is not problematic, him revoking the death card in front of the egg god was self defense" or "hating blorbina is misogyny because blorbo and blorbax did way worse than steal a whole pack of wolf to kill the king of blorbdom and they were praised" or "controversial take but the showdown between super blorb and blorbo maximo was a cultural reset but also very classist" and like.... I don't know these people or their sins but please keep talking about them, these worlds seem crazy but there's something reassuring about seeing other people invest themselves emotionally and mentally in them. It's like hearing someone else's trip in a faraway country, it's fascinating
