Doing more seedy work wasn't necessarily how he wanted to spend his time, but Yev also wouldn't complain about something to do. If he wanted to enjoy himself later tonight in Limsa Lominsa, he would need more gil. This sort of work wouldn't get him what he really wanted. Compensation was nice and he wasn't so stupid as to think he could live his life on nothing but well wishes. However, he would only do as much as necessary.
Some money lender had hired him to track down a debtor and extract the required gil. The following had taken most of the day, not because the hyur was hard to find, but simply because Yev needed somewhere relatively secluded. As night fell, his target moved toward the less wholesome parts of the city and he followed, waiting.
As the target passed by the entrance to an alley, Yev shoved him inside, knocking them over. With the butt end of his lance, he knocked them on the side first, before asking about the money. The answer he got was less than productive. It seemed he would be here a while.
