Bro I don't know a goddamn thing about any of your LARP characters, give me the deets. Also how's Trevor doing
Well, right now it’s pretty much Alex in the Realms, since the Future Imperfect campaign I played in wrapped up and I haven’t managed to play at a Keystone event yet.
So, Alex Smith, son of a mercenary and… wait for it… a smith. He’s kind of a rarity for the realms in that he wins “the game”:
Both his parents are human
Both his parents are alive
He belongs to a nation called Chimeron, in a group called the Azure Guard. In theory, the Azure Guard is the nation’s elite fighting force, but in actuality it’s the nation’s elite trolling force, and I think Alex makes a fine addition.
Honestly, a lot of Alex’s personality comes down to making him fun to play for me. He enjoys rushing headlong into danger, but will think tactically if the situation warrants it (it rarely does, though). He enjoys arguing points he doesn’t believe using arguments he knows are invalid. And he’s very much a hedonist, but is willing to get down to business and kill stuff when the time comes.
As for Trevor: Well, he’s doing alright. His fiancee getting kidnapped and nearly sacrificed did make him strongly reconsider his current path, his priorities, and his decision to leave her in the dark about all the elder god stuff. At this point, he’s settled on continuing to fight for continuing existence, since, y’know, that’s where he lives. I think he is going to bring up the idea of letting his fiancee in on the conspiracy, though, since apparently keeping her in the dark didn’t protect her as well as he thought it would.
Also, he really appreciates that Judith saved his dog that one time.
Anyway, overall, I think he’s doing alright. Well, at least he thinks he’s doing alright.
