“Loosing someone is tough I should know. I lost my best friend and my leader to an accident while I was still in high school. We were in the middle of solving a serial murder case where Shadows were involved.”
It’s been roughly five and a half years since the accident and Yosuke’s gotten over it. It took a lot of time and support to be able to move on, but he’s fine now. Talking about it still hurts a little bit but not to the point where he wants to avoid the topic all together. Besides, he felt like this would be a good time to share a bit of his past.
“It hurt us a lot, our entire team nearly shattered because of it...”
A pause as he looked back towards the ruler. He thought about the offer, to have his partner back. If this was right after the accident he would have accepted in a heartbeat. Now? There was no way in hell he would accept such an offer. That would invalidate everything he and the rest of the Seekers of the Truth went through these last few years. If anything it would disrespect the memory of his fallen partner even more than having him back.
“However, we ultimately grew as a people and as a team because of it. How are people supposed to grow if they never go through any trials?”
