Def recommend revamping old OCs and throwing them and other canon characters from their original universe into a brand new one with entirely different problems. I know that’s the basis of fan fiction but there’s something more fun about doing it in a TTRPG.
Currently doing so with Hetalia and Weaverdice and it’s been a blast so far. Like a weird form of nostalgia and getting to fall in love again with old comfort characters as entirely new people. I hadn’t used this OC in nearly a decade let alone watched Hetalia since then.
My OC was kinda a Mary-Sue back then (I was 13, sue me) so this is also a good chance to see how I’ve grown as a writer.
So yeah get on it, be the best lil trash goblins you can be with all your favorite characters
