This site reminds me of FreeRice.com, a site I’ve used for years and recommended as a fun way to practice your vocabulary knowledge and explore new vocabulary in a fun way (words are selected/leveled based on your responses or can be self-selected).

ReadTheory.org is a fun way to practice your reading comprehension in a similar manner.  When you visit the site, a random reading selection appears:

When you click on any answer (if you haven’t logged in), this pop-up appears:

I’m considering using it with my EL Mainstream support class.  We focus a lot on writing and speaking, as well as independent reading, but I’m looking for something they can do once or twice a week to target reading skills. 

I know some people are using it.  Reviews? Complaints?  Would this be a good use of my students’ time?
