So this theory has been eating me away and I've been thinking; the theory behind Imon is that he's associated with Koh right? Well I kinda thought of this, would you think that maybe he was a child of Sokka who held resentment and how his father wasn't given the gift of bending like his younger sister and the fan to wind up his flames was that firebender that killed Sokka and most likely Suki his mother? But this could also go with the Koh theory also taking this as an opportunity for revenge. Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â

Amon said that spirits granted him the ability to take away a persons bending, he didn’t specify that he met Koh. It would be interesting if he was associated with Koh, but Koh steals peoples entire faces. He can’t have met Koh because we can see Amon’s eyes whenever the camera shows his face.
I’m not too sure about Amon being Sokka and Suki’s son. That would mean that Amon is about the same age as Tenzin and Lin and he strikes me as being a younger guy. He also probably would’ve been raised on friendly terms with Katara, Toph, Aang, Zuko, and all their children. It wouldn’t make sense for him to hate all benders if he was raised in that sort of environment.

  One theory I have is, — aside the eyes factor — what if Amon traded Koh his face for power to take bending away, or a exchange for a skill to take bending away? They said GRANTED, and which granted doesn't always have to be one way.Â
