The Great Gatsby
Arguably the best book in American literature. Dancing, drinking, death; it has all of the components of a good party (in the 1920s). Other than theĀ ābeautiful foolā bit, (which is quite insulting to the modern feminist), incredible writing. There is love, lies, (and again) an unworldly amount of drinking. with a twist at the end, you wonāt know what hit you (hehe).
