Is this something
AIO for how my dad reacts when I speak?
I \*tend\* to talk a lot when I get excited, feel proud of myself, etc but it's how my dad reacts to it I had just finished editing a post for an event I am working on and I was so proud of myself because I get to be a mod for it. I ran into the living room and told my dad but when I told him he tends to put his head in his hands and nod and sigh loudly. This isn't a one time thing either.
When I told him I passed my practice test it was the same thing, head immediately in his head and I nonexcited "that's cool, baby." I feel so bad when he does it, because sometimes be does say mean things to me but he usually apologizes for it. (Sometimes he calls me a bitch or a motherfucker, mostly it's the word selfish) But they usually when he's just woken up and wants to be left alone. But on track again yeah he puts his head in his hands and acts like om annoying him and it really hurts, AIO?
Reddit consensus: NOT OVERREACTING (NOR) (100% confidence)
Top comment: “NOR.
Your father should NEVER EVER be calling you ANY curse regardless of how he's feeling and I'm terribly sorry nobody in your life has clarified that for you.
That's not normal. At all.”
Notable comment: “NOR. It sucks to have your excitement for something be destroyed by a parent. Unfortunately maybe you should stop relying on him for that kind of support and rely on others, even if that's just little Reddit confessions where you need someone to hype you up until you are able to move out and find your people. And I do mean that you will find those people, the ones who will be happy to see you happy.”
