So I thought about this earlier but what if the Talos shrine in Markarth was originally a shrine for Hircine

A lot of the fandom treats the Reachfolk the way y'all treat actual indigenous folk, both historically and existing, and that's a hill I'm willing to die on that hill. And so does the games to a degree 💅🏽
This is Mebd, my dragonborn. This is also my first serious attempt at drawing humans (although I have sketched them plenty).

Made my TES: Daggerfall character on Skyrim.
Victory Historia (the Agent)
35 when her quest starts and 47 when it ends.
“Breton” (is actually a Reachman).
Her name Victory is actually an alias. Her last name is actually her real first name.
She is still alive along with Genesis (my Eternal Champion) when TES: Oblivion happens but is in High Rock helping the Blades there.
>Ass-backward territorial xenophobes >Insular culture >cultic religion with human sacrificial practices
Am I talking about Reachmen or FO3's Point Lookout Swampfolk?
Yes.
8.8.25 roughly annotated out a forsworn camp/territory map this morning instead of sleeping, vaguely based off of the marked spots we got from vanilla and cross referencing those with uesp’s list of forsworn locations. conclusion: roughly 7 seven clans/factions within the forsworn/reachmen, more than less united in their struggle against those that would see them dead; each faction has a hagraven matriarch (or in the case of the lost valley and sundered tower redoubts, several hagravens [working equally, or with a hierarchy?] - bleakwind’s hagraven tends to be more uninterested or uninvolved being at the far eastern border, and doesn’t care to contest that. blind cliff cave is ostensibly where druadach's hagraven is currently residing, and you help melka defeat her rival petra in canon there). the highlighted territories are roughly where they should be, but i was too tired to actively account for other settlements and landmarks so /shrugs
in a theoretical continuation of the forsworn storyline, you help madanach re-reunite the other 6 forsworn clans, as his time in cidhna mine was not overly helpful in keeping them together, and would function in the main quest as a way to access the karthspire and therefore the sky haven temple without needing to go on a violent rampage through one of the forsworn's long rooted and expansive settlements
