[...] Mojo is a play of words. The key actions are bold and dramatic, but rare; the story is told largely through dialogue - and body language. It’s in the latter that I think this production redeems the script, because the quality of acting is so high that the spaces between the words are not just filled but charged with meaning and sharp, intense emotion. Nobody does meaning and emotion like Colin Morgan and Ben Whishaw. Together they’re unstoppable; there’s a lot of chemistry there, but more than that, they draw out the deep, tragic bond between their characters, the irresistible attraction/disgust/recognition that sparks into violence in the space of a breath.
