Just now replayed the Rhodes moonshiner’s mission and realized that Arthur really is a slow one. (slash the game was designed really annoyingly).
I have already located the “hidden” box with the note from the old Gray or Braithwaite woman (don’t remember which she belonged to), that told her man from the other house that she took the fortune and gave it to him to make a new life for them (unsure of what happened to them tho).
Now the deputy said that the families believe they stole from one another, and we know based on the note that it is indeed so. This then means that if the game was self aware enough Arthur would then pull Dutch to the side after and show him the note and give him the info.
Of course it wouldn’t change anything because Dutch is Dutch, but at least I would have the peace of mind that Arthur isn’t an idiot and is aware of the actual situation but still loves and wants to do what Dutch says so he... still acts like an idiot but... yeah.
