She felt relieved when Kylo didn’t pull away his hands again instantly. “How would you feel about me offering help to warm them up, maybe?” At this point, Unicorn had learned to better be careful with him. That he obviously wanted to fight his battles all by himelf, for whatever reason. Yet, she figured - hoped - that offering to help warming up his hands would something he could be willing to accept.

In fact, she just figured there was something unpleasant that he was trying to deal with. And the he did prefer to deal with it on his own. “If you ask me to forgive you, then you are forgiven.
