Luka silently crept through the snow, eyes careful not to lose track of her prey. The cold had gotten to this place quickly and she hadn’t stocked up any food for a spell which meant hunting was what had to be done.

Of course he’ll give her attention! He’ll always give her attention! Akamatsu’s tail thumps on the ground as he brushes a hand through her hair… He pledged himself to her, he may as well help! “What’s got you down?”

   “Memories,” she admits softly, tail curling up and over her leg. A visible sign of her unease, her restlessness. “Overthinking. A bit of both... It doesn’t do well for me, but I all too often fall into it, all the same.

Pet pet.

   All she’d wanted...was a nice day.... A relaxing day out in the sun, embracing nature and... Well, who knows the goals for the day. It would have to be something found out along the way.     But how would she go out and enjoy the day....when she looked into the mirror.......

   ...and saw this?! White hair? Without her conscious decision?? It could only mean one thing and she didn’t feel any better knowing the cause. In the end, it just meant trouble for her.

   ...Which made Amaterasu even more frustrated was what was she going to do now? She didn’t want to stay home and wait this out! She still wanted to go out and play.... Perhaps...if she was careful, she could go out anyways....? It’d just be all about finding a good place to be. Alone. Super alone and comfortable.

   That could be possible, right...? Eh, probably not like she thought.

   Lifting her head as she felt a nudge against her side the dragoness lifted her head, looking toward the wolf that was now at her side curiously. Had she been so busy checking something that she’d not noticed him arrive? Eventually she broke out into a small laugh, leaning herself against his side.

   Honestly, accepts this. Usually she’s a picky pup on attention, but...he’s caught her during a wave of being attention-starved, so. Ammy nuzzles him back, flopping over him and whining.

   Bleary eyes open to...definitely not the forest she’d last been trekking through. What...the heck happened...? Amaterasu searched her mind for memories, trying to figure out what she did last, what happened to lead to her feeling so much like shit, wh-

   She slid back to the floor with a low growl. Hit her head on the top of the cage... Dammit. At least it prompted her to remember being shot with something. It made her so sleepy, so fast... Did that have something to do with this?
