One of my favourite items in my house - the design of every element of this record is exquisite!! And the feel of it is so pleasant, the cardstock is this nice matte that just elevates the whole thing imo. I feel like every minute detail of the design was thought out, and this is why I love collecting physical media. Jesse Feinman designed it all and did an amazing job.
I ordered this when it came out (in the spring of 2020) to my Washington mailbox thinking the border would open up soon enough. Ha! Several months later when people were allowed to meet at the parks around the BC-WA border one of my mom's friends grabbed these and passed them on to me. It was so joyous. Part of me wishes I waited a bit to order because they released this beautiful eye-popping neon yellow but I still think the translucent green is a really good fit for this record.
Anyway the album slaps. Hooooly shit, is it good. I regret being "too tired" to see Choir Boy (with SRSQ!!! Dammit!!) last fall. I hope they come out this way again soon. I love how this is kind of airy but still rich and interesting on every listen. I especially love Adam's voice; it's so unique.
