"The treatment of War in HS2 was horrible and frankly disgusting. He can get killed not once, not twice, but three(!!) times. You get achievements for killing him and three of the male lis(Lucifer, Astaroth and Dino) can only reach 100% in their romance if you get War killed. He's the only black li of the book, and the other one, Loy, had the same fate as him. Being with Vicky for 10 years and she didn't even shed a tear over Loy getting killed.
All this to add yet another white male li for the same people who already have plenty of options. This only shows a very certain bias from the author which hasn't been outwardly expressed but speaks so loud through the writing."

Alice is so bad at handling the Black LIs. First, Loy barely got any screen time, only to die in the first episode of the second book.
War is the only LI you could kill off early on, and even if you don't, his scenes are way too short compared to the others.
And now, Volot with the race-swapping? Honestly, Alice, I’m done. I am done with you.
