We know that RB stalked MC, and the current theory is that RB is BB. I think they're different people, and that conclusion is a red herring.

MC has a huge chunk of their memory for the last month just...gone. I think it's safe to assume that something very traumatic happened, and it involves both BB and RB.

My theory? MC had two stalkers at the same time, and currently it's now one. RB and BB. Hence why BB would know about the nosy neighbor, and acts weird about the whole situation involving RB. What happens when two Yandere's find the same obsession? They don't share. They don't find some notion of familiarity or kinship. It becomes a very deadly game.

I think RB might have crossed a line, physically, with MC, and with BB always being around, likely took care of the problem in FRONT of MC. He killed the guy. Likely violently with a tire iron. The call back, him knowing how it sounds, might be a hint. They might have even been friends or known one another in the military, maybe even worked together, hence why anything violent as such took so long to take place.

Both became obsessed with MC. BB is very subtle about his, however, and is wary about how he makes her feel. RB likely didn't care. He stood outside her door, he followed blatantly and carelessly, and couldn't handle waiting anymore. I genuinely think BB killed RB to keep MC safe, and it probably happened during whatever assault RB was participating in.
