Managed to catch G doing his usual ritual of
1) Last off the ice
2) shooting a puck off of Chris (Stewie) Stewart’s foot

Last little bits of stills, and then comes the videos!
Just a few shots from inside the house. They don't make'em like they used to.
The fact that my grandparents just casually had stained glass windows in their house. I have detailed shots of them so I can hopefully at some point make a wall hanging quilt, or even attempt a recreation.
On a more serious note, this.
La Banca di Tartaglia é chisua. (The Bank of Tartaglia is closed.)
My grandparents had about $70k sealed in these jars (to keep the mice out) tucked away on rafters, behind baseboards, and in the walls. And I hear you say, "Ray - a house fire would destroy all of that. Why not a safe or a fireproof box?" Yeah they had a box. It could only squeeze a few thousand into it. You know what else they had? Life experience. Specifically in Benito Mussolini's fascist Italy, where they were young teens.
I'm in Connecticut at my grandparents' house getting it ready to sell. I'm heartbroken that at this time, I'm not in a position to own the house so it can't stay in the family. There's been so many happy memories and several sad ones, but the important thing is that we're (almost) all working together. Two of my five Aunts aren't here, one because she couldn't fly in from AZ, one (in town) because she sucks. But we're doing it. We got damn near everything done in two days, we're already scrubbing down the areas of the house that aren't full of boxes. I'm grateful to have this problem but also so sad because the house my grandparents raised the family in is so beautiful it makes me ache.
