So as usual no one in my family did something for my birthday (or today since I got home late last night so it'd be fair to leave it to today), which wow I should stop being surprised by that. And as usual my friends, online or not, celebrated it more than them. My mom and dad messaged me to celebrate it while I was away yesterday, my brother didn't say happy birthday yet. All minus my sister, who's bought me a figurine I wanted a few months ago and face timed me right after it was past midnight to celebrate my birthday
And they ask me why I'm never excited for my birthday again or quite the opposite, am sad during the day. And by not doing something I don't mean a huge party, I literally didn't even get cake and now my mom is lowkey gaslighting me about it??? Like wow
